HISTORY

Brownyard Programs, Ltd., which was formed in October 1993, is a Program Administrator that specializes exclusively in the Private Security Industry. The president of Brownyard Programs, Bruce W. Brownyard, has been producing and underwriting insurance for private security guard, private investigation, alarm companies and armored car companies for over 30 years. During that time Mr. Brownyard has developed an outstanding reputation in the insurance business in general and the Private Security Industry in particular and is today recognized as one of the foremost experts on the subject of insurance as it relates to private security agencies.

Brownyard Programs currently represents and transacts business with a number of highly rated insurance companies for their specialty insurance programs for the Private Security Industry. Currently, Brownyard Programs offers General and Professional Liability, Excess and Umbrella Liability, Workers' Compensation and Fidelity Bonds to these private security agencies from coast to coast.

While Brownyard Programs is not the largest writer of private security agencies in the country, they are the fastest growing company in the field. They currently insure close to 1000 security agencies coast to coast and 15 of the top 40 security guard companies in the U.S. as listed this past year by annual revenues in "Security Letter."

The Brownyard Programs' staff is constantly growing and includes an experienced group of insurance professionals that create insurance products, offer preliminary underwriting, risk screening and rating as well as providing production, marketing and accounting services. Brownyard’s operation is fully computerized and virtually paperless using the latest in scanning and storage equipment so that data can be quickly stored and retrieved. Brownyard Programs is continually evaluating and updating its technology to keep up with the needs of its insurance companies, its brokers and its insureds.

Bruce Brownyard has been a member of the American Society of Industrial Security since 1975 & ASIS is the largest private security association in the country. He has been a member of the ASIS Private Security Services Council since 1995. Brownyard Programs is the Broker of Record of the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS), which is the largest association of independent guard & investigation companies in the U.S.
